Boogie beats for tiny feet

Boogie Beats East KilbrideThe latest Boogie Beats for Tiny Feet course is all set for another round of fun and interactive music and dance for toddlers.

Open to children aged 18 months to three years, the 10-week programme is packed full with puppets, parachutes, percussion instruments and dance.

And adults are being encouraged to come along with their little ones and enjoy watching as they sing and dance, make lots of noise and really having a ball.

Each week the council's experienced dance and music leaders will take you and your little ones on an exciting journey to far away places through music and movement which will help develop co-ordination and motor skills.

However, this early introduction to music and dance does more than just entertain - it can kick-start learning, serve as an important part of a child's routine and sets up the start to lifelong benefits.

Organised by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's Arts Development Team, the 10-week course starts next week at the following locations:

    * East Kilbride Arts Centre - Monday 10 January - 10-10.45am and 11-11.45am
    * Hamilton Town House - Friday 14 January - 12.45-1.30pm and 1.45-2.30pm

Class sizes are kept small to give the very best tuition. Please book your place at the box office soon to avoid disappointment!
